PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELALUI METODE INKUIRI TERBIMBING DAN PROYEK DITINJAU DARI KREATIVITAS DAN KEMAMPUAN MENGGUNAKAN ALAT LABORATORIUM

The purposes of research were to find out the differences learning of science with Guided Inquiry and Projects method, between student who had high and low creativity, between student who had high and low ability to use laboratory equipment  and their interaction toward student’s achievement. The data was collected using test method for student cognitive achievement, questionnaire for student’s creativity and student’s affective achievement, and observation sheet for ability to use laboratory equipment. The research data analysis were tested using anova with 2x2x2, factorial design with different cell size and calculated using software PASW 18.

Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that: (1) student’s cognitive achievement with projects method is same with that of the guided inquiry but student affective achievement with guided inquiry method was higher  than projects, (2) no differences  of  student’s cognitive achievement  between the student’s who had a high creativity and low creativity but there were differences  of  student’s affective, (3) there were differences  of  student’s cognitive achievement  between the student’s who had a high ability to use laboratory equipment and low ability to use laboratory equipment but no differences of student’s affective, (4) there were  interaction between guided inquiry method and projects with creativity toward student cognitive and affective achievement, (5) there were no  interaction between guided inquiry method and projects method with ability to use laboratory equipment toward student’s cognitive and affective achievement, (6) there were no interaction between creativity with ability to use laboratory equipment toward student’s  cognitive and affective achievement, (7) there were no interaction between guided inquiry method and  projects method with creativity and ability to use laboratory equipment toward  student’s  cognitive and affective achievement
